Petitioner, who is husband of opposite party no.2 apprehends arrest in a case registered for offence under sections 498A/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of the DP Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the petitioner is neither ready to keep her with himself nor he is ready to pay her maintenance.
In view of the allegation that the petitioner committed torture for non-fulfilment of dowry, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail within six weeks which would be considered on its own merit without prejudice.
