2. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 191 ( 2 ), 191 (3) , 190, 126 ( 2 ), 115 ( 2 ), 118 (1) , 324 ( 4 ), (5) , 132, 323 , 121 (1), 270, 352, 351 ( 2 ) (3) of the BNS. 3 . As per the prosecution case, informant namely Lalan Kumar, (ASI ) alleged that on 15.08.2024 at 7 PM, when he along with other police officials were on duty, on the eve of Khappar Puja rally, wherein 60 to 70 thousand pilgrims were

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61700 of 2025(2) dt.09-09-2025 2/3 participating in the event and running with khappar and in the course of rally , all of a sudden , mob attacked A.S.I. Akhilesh Kumar, due to which he sustained injury and some unknown persons damaged 15 nearby shops. After the aforesaid incident, two swords were seized from place of occurrence .

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that petitioner No. 1 is priest (Pujari) of Khappar puja and petitioner Nos. 2 to 4 are members of the Khappar puja committee . Allegation is general and omnibus in nature . No specific allegation of any overt act is alleged against them. The members of the committee have already intimated the government authority to maintain law and order during Khappar Puja rally i. e ,. Annexure - 2 to the bail petition . 5 . Learned counsel for the State oppose the bail petition .

6 Considering the aforesaid facts, general and omnibus allegation against these petitioners and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief
