The petitioner is in custody since 15.06.2019 in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 212/2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 41(1) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that from the perusal of the FIR, it appears that the name of the petitioner surfaced on the statement of one Mohd. Arif who on his confessional statement made before the police has stated that the petitioner was one of the persons who was running away. It is further submitted that the petitioner has one other criminal

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 9th Additional Session Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran, in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 212/2018.
