JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 23-07-2018 The present writ petition has been filed against the cancellation of PDS licence of the petitioner vide memo no. 289 dated 20.12.2007 (Annexure-2) and the appellate order dated 12.02.2008 passed in District Appeal No. 20 of 2007-08 by the District Magistrate, Araria (Annexure-1).

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.

4. This Court takes note that the impugned orders have been passed as far back as in the years 2007 and 2008 respectively, and no

Patna High Court CWJC No.13556 of 2014 dt.23-07-2018 satisfactory explanation appears for the inordinate delay in approaching this Court in the year 2104. The petitioner is clearly a fence sitter and is seeking the benefit of the order passed in other cases by this Court. Therefore, I am not inclined to interfere in the matter. The writ petition stands dismissed.
