Heard the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Raghunathpur P.S. Case No. 21/2021 registered for offence punishable under section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

As per allegation, 48 litres of liquor was recovered from the place of occurrence wherefrom the petitioner became successful in fleeing away. The petitioner was remanded in this case on 21.08.2021.

No.68252 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as the criminal antecedent and the period of custody, the petitioner above-named is directed to be released on bail after framing of charge on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with Raghunathpur P.S. Case No. 21/2021.

The learned court below shall expedite the case and shall take every endeavour to frame the charge as early as possible.

With these observations/directions, this regular bail petition is disposed of.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
