Nadim Seraj, learned Government Pleader No.5, appearing on behalf of the State-respondents.
In view of the fact that, upon completion of investigation, charge sheet has already been submitted against one accused, this writ petition is closed with liberty granted to the petitioner to approach this Court with appropriate application, in future, if so advised, and also take recourse to such provisions of law as may be permissible.
Having considered the averments made in the writ petition and materials on record and upon hearing the parties, it is
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.909 of 2016 (3) dt.03-10-2016 2/2 hereby directed that respondent No.2, namely, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, shall enquire into the grievances raised in the writ petition, do the needful in accordance with law and get the investigation of Pirbahore P.S. Case No.120 of 2016 completed expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months, ensuring proper, fair and effective investigation in such a way that no innocent person is harassed.
Let a copy of this order be sent forthwith to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, and the Officer-in-Charge, Pirbahore Police Station.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
