Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners have completed four years in graduate trained scale and as such they are eligible for grant of promotion to the post of Headmaster. He further submits that the concerned officials have recommended the case of the petitioners way back in 2017 but the matter is still pending at the level of the District Education Officer and the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Gopalganj. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents concerned to take appropriate decision in accordance with law in the matter of grant of promotion of the petitioners at the earliest preferably within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
