Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41996 of 2016 (5) dt.02-02-2017 2/2 case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406/420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner Om Prakash Narayan was a land broker and the informant is his relation. Allegation is that on persuasion of petitioner Om Prakash Narayan, the informant invested nine lakhs in the business of purchase and sale of land. When land was not transferred in favour of the informant the petitioner Ravi Narayan @ Ravi Prakash full brother of petitioner Om Prakash issued a refund cheque, which bounced. The entire allegation apparently reveals a case of civil dispute, hence, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, are directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Ms. Kiran Chaturvedi, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna/Successor Court in connection with Patrakar Nagar Police Station Case No.299 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
