2. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.401 of 2021 instituted under Section 498 (A) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. There is allegation of torture and cruelty by the petitioners for non-fulfillment of additional demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant. They have no concern with the affairs of the complainant and her husband. He further submits that vide order

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60641 of 2023(2) dt.11-10-2023 2/2 dated 02.03.2023 passed in A.B.P. No.263 of 2023, the learned Sessions Judge, Madhepura has already granted anticipatory bail to the husband of the complainant as there is amicable settlement between the parties. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Madhepura in connection with Complaint Case No.401 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
