1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i) For direction to the respondents to grant status to the petitioner from General Medical Officer to Specialist Medical Officer in Tuberculosis (TB) because the petitioner has completed course of Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Disease (DTCD) from PMCH, Patna and passed examination held in month of August, 2016 conducted by Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna.

ii) For direction to the respondents to grant consequential benefit of the post of Specialist Medical Officer in Tuberculosis & Chest Disease and other benefit in the light of the order of the Joint Secretary, Health Department, Govt. of Bihar

Patna High Court CWJC No.16057 of 2022(2) dt.05-03-2024 2/2 vide Memo No.1297(2) dated 26.11.2020 by which General Medical Officer, who have degree of Speciality, three additional increments shall be given."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent no.3, i.e. the Joint Secretary, Health Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner, before the respondent no.3, i.e. the Joint Secretary, Health Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
