JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 17-10-2019 The learned counsel for the respondents has filed a supplementary counter affidavit on behalf of the respondent no. 4 wherein it has been submitted that the authority letter dated 24.09.2019 has been issued and a sum of Rs. 1,54,240/- has been authorized for payment to the petitioner herein on the head of G.P.F. along with the up to date interest. In paragraph no. 6 of the said counter affidavit, it has been stated that the remaining amount of G.P.F. amounting to a sum of Rs. 3,88,841/- has also been authorized in favour of the petitioner vide authority letter dated 27.09.2019 along with up to date interest.
At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner
Patna High Court CWJC No.17766 of 2019(3) dt.17-10-2019 2/2 submits that if the amount has been authorized, the petitioner does not have any grievance, however, the respondents may be directed to make payment in case the payment has not been made.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off, however, with a direction to the Assistant Director of G.P.F. Directorate, Finance Department, Bihar, Patna to ensure payment of aforesaid two amounts, if not already paid, within a period of four weeks from today, failing which he shall not draw his salary.
