The sole petitioner, apprehending his arrest in Special N.D.P.S. Case No.23/2008, in which cognizance order has been passed under Sections 18 and 8(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that of course, it has been alleged in the F.I.R. that in the land of the petitioner huge quantity of opium poppy plants were found but there is no indication of either plot or Khata number. On this very ground, a prayer has been made for anticipatory bail. He further submits that the prosecution report was submitted

However, keeping in view the nature of serious accusation, I do not find any ground to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail. The petition stands dismissed. (Rakesh Kumar, J) NKS/- U T
