06-10-2016 Heard Sri Umesh Chandra Verma, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 26-06-2016 in Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 277 of 2016 registered for offence under Sections 25(1-b)a & 26 of the Arms Act, 1959, has prayed for grant of bail.

By way of referring to statement made in paragraph - 3 of the petition, it was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is having clean antecedent and on false accusation of recovery of one country-made pistol as well as one cartridge, the petitioner has been detained.

Keeping in view the nature of accusation and clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner namely Ramesh

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40914 of 2016 (3) dt.06-10-2016 2/2 Kumar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 277 of 2016.
