The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307, 379 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, on the orders of the petitioner, the accused persons are said to have assaulted the informant. On the informant's father coming to his rescue, the accused persons including the petitioner herein are said to have assaulted him. They also took away the gold chain of the informant's mother.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The allegations against the petitioner are general and omnibus in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68543 of 2021(2) dt.06-06-2022 2/2 nature. He is in custody since 1.6.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Co-accused Rambabu Pal has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 30.9.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. no.23319 of 2021.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner in the F.I.R., the period in custody being more than 1 year and grant of bail to co-accused Rambabu Pal, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case no.34 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran.
