JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE JITENDRA MOHAN SHARMA ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH) 15-04-2015 The petitioner after receiving information that his educational certificate being intermediate granted by the Central Board of Higher Education certificate is not genuine has filed this writ petition.
Patna High Court LPA No.1400 of 2012 (2) dt.15-04-2015 2/3 The certificate issued by the Central Board of Higher Education was sent for verification by the Central Board of Secondary Education which was returned with an endorsement that the Central Board of Higher Education is a fake organization . Nothing has been brought on record either in the writ petition or in this appeal to show that the said Board of Higher Education was either constituted or recognized for imparting education in schools at intermediate level by the State Government or the Central Government. It was registered as a Society in the year 1956 but it does not indicate as to who controls the said Board, who approved the courses of study, how and when examinations are conducted and which schools are affiliated to it, nothing is stated.
In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to interfere with the judgment of the learned Single Judge. The appeal is rejected.
Let a copy of this order be sent to the Principal Secretary, Department of Human Resources Development, Govt. of Bihar, Patna who would take immediate steps to verify the credential of such organization as noticed above and inform the public at large in the State that such organization has no legal sanctity so that innocent people from Bihar are not cheated.
Patna High Court LPA No.1400 of 2012 (2) dt.15-04-2015 3/3 Registry is directed to send a copy of this order immediately.
