2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Kotwali (Barari) P.S. Case No. 378 of 2023 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 504, 506, 332, 353, 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per allegation in the FIR, when the police reached to arrest the petitioner and others in Ishakchak P.S. Case No. 67 of 2023, the petitioner took out revolver and put threat to fire. Somehow, he along with one co-accused was arrested but other accused persons obstructed the police official to perform their duty. In the alleged occurrence, some police peronnel sustained injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. The allegation of assault to the police officials is general and omnibus against the petitioner. It is also submitted that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 26.6.2023.
5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail and submitted that the petitioner is a notorious person who has got seven criminal antecedents. The petitioner pointed pistol upon the police officials and assaulted them. Several police personnel have sustained injuries while they went to apprehended the petitioner in another case.
6. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of allegation, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and, as such, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
7. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as soon as possible.
