The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of bail in a case registered under sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
The earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 29.1.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. no.69512 of 2021.
As per the prosecution case, 70.7 litres of liquor was recovered from the hut of the petitioner.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. He is in custody since 20.9.2021 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation, the liberty granted in the earlier order of rejection dated 29.1.2022 and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year since 20.9.2021, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with C2 Case no.285 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.
