JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 28-08-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent Union of India.

The petitioner has filed writ petition praying that the respondents be directed to conduct the Review Medical Board against the findings of the Medical Board declaring him unfit for selection on the post of constable. The petitioner was declared incompetent for selection by the Medical Board which was conducted on 26.7.2011. He was advised that, if so desired, he may approach for appeal against the findings of the Medical Board. The petitioner thereafter made his application for Review Medical Board on 3.7.2011. Application of the petitioner was not found to be in accordance with the requirement inasmuch as he had not provided self addressed envelope along with the application.

Having made his application for appeal against the findings of the Medical Board in the year 2011, the petitioner slept over the same for three years. It is only in July, 2014 that he again made a request to the authorities to conduct Review Medical Examination. In view of the aforesaid delay and latches on the part of the petitioner, this Court does not find any reason to issue any direction in his favour for conducting Review Medical Board in relation to selection process of the year 2011, today in 2018.

The writ petition is devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed.
