The petitioner seeks bail in Sikandra P.S. Case No. 62/2015, registered for the offences punishable under Section 302 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The brother of the deceased made allegation that some altercation took place during the fare and one Chandan Kumar Mahto stabbed his brother Kundan Kumar. He also stabbed Jyotis Kumar Mandal and Lalu Kumar Yadav. The petitioner and Manjit Mahto helped Chandan Kumar Mahto in fleeing away from the place of occurrence, but there is no allegation of assault on any persons against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the informant as well as learned Additional P.P., however, opposed the prayer for bail.

No.35211 of 2015 (2) dt.21-08-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Amit Kumar Singh, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jamui, in connection with Sikandra P.S. Case No. 62/2015.
