In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Semra (Chiutaha) P.S. Case No. 38 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation has been made that in the mid-night, the accused persons had taken away the victim forcibly and chopped off the leg of the victim who ultimately died. The wife herself made statement under section 164 Cr.P.C. and narrated the whole story of the incident which is against the petitioner.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Mahesh/- U T
