Petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 811 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel submits that 8.250 liters of liquor was seized from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 18.7.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53930 of 2019(2) dt.30-08-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge IInd, Jehanabad, in connection with Excise Case No. 811 of 2019.
