This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 8, 15(c) and 18 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
From the hotel of this petitioner 1.550 Kg of raw opium and 116.200 Kg of poppy husk was allegedly recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 20.03.2016. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
The prayer for bail is refused.
The learned Special Judge, Gaya, is directed to expedite the trial.
