JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(I) For issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the memo no.307 dated 8.7.2020 issued under the signature of C.D.P.0.Ben, Nalanda whereby and whereunder the selection of petitioner was cancelled and she was discharged from the services from the post of Sevika from Anganwari Centre, Laxmi Bigha + Beniya Bigha and Centre No.87 in Ward No.1 under Arawa Panchayat on the ground of differences in marks obtained by the
Patna High Court CWJC No.20208 of 2021(2) dt.21-03-2024 2/2 petitioner in Matriculation Certificate.
II. For issuance of a writ for commanding and directing to reinstate the services of petitioner after due and fresh verification of documents of the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a civil suit before the learned civil court of competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
