JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 06-02-2023 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 10 of 2022 registered for offence punishable under sections 498(A), 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant Khushboo Khatoon is wife of co-accused Md. Sarfaraz Alam. As per allegation, the accused persons demanded dowry and subjected her to cruelty for nonfulfillment of the same. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56868 of 2022(2) dt.06-02-2023 2/2 that petitioner no. 1 is mother-in-law of the victim and petitioner no. 2 is brother-in-law (Devar) of the victim. They have no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple and they are the persons of clean antecedents.
Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Begusaria in connection with Mahila P.S.
