The prayer for anticipatory bail on behalf of petitioner no. 1, Rajendra Prasad @ Ward Saheb, had already been withdrawn vide order, dated 20.06.2017, as he had been arrested. This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 498A, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Petitioner, Sangeeta Kumari @ Sangeeta Devi, is mother-in-law of opposite party no. 2.

Opposite party no. 2 had already appeared through vakalatnama. However, no one appeared on her behalf today. There is general and omni bus allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same against the petitioner. Considering the general and omni bus allegation as well as the fact that the petitioner, above named, is a female, let she in the event of her arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24110 of 2017 (3) dt.05-07-2017 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Kashichak P.S. Case No. 81 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawadah, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
