In pursuance of such direction, the University in its show cause dated 20th August, 2012, submitted that a sum of Rs.4,47,723/- is payable to the petitioner towards interest, but such payment shall be made only on receipt of the amount from the State

Patna High Court MJC No.4597 of 2012 dt.28-02-2017 2/2 Government. In another show cause filed today, the stand of the University is that the State Government has declined the request of the University for payment of interest as there is no provision of payment of interest by the State Government. A speaking order dated 30th of September has been attached with the show cause as Annexure-B.

Since an order has been passed declining the claim of the petitioner for payment of interest, the present contempt petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail such remedy as is available to the petitioner in accordance with law for redressal of his grievances.
