This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of S.K. Puri P.S. Case No. 83/2011, disclosing offences under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, as written in para 3 of the application, I do not think it to be a proper case for grant of anticipatory bail. This application is, accordingly dismissed.

If the petitioner surrenders in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and pray for regular bail, learned court below shall consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on its own merit without
