====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-09-2025 Heard Mr. Rambabu Yadav, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Mohammed Arif, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 16.04.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 19202 of 2025, by which the petitioner was directed to be released on pre-arrest bail with condition to return back the amount in question to the complainant.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66396 of 2025(2) dt.12-09-2025 2/3 petitioner informs that the petitioner could not return back the amount in question to the complainant within the stipulated time and seeks extension of time for making payment to the complainant.

4. This Court finds that the matter can be resolved outside the Court by way of mediation.

5. The petitioner is directed to appear before the learned District Court on 19.09.2025 at 10:30 AM.

6. Learned District Court is directed to take necessary steps to refer the matter before the learned Mediator of the District Mediation Center.

7. Learned Mediator of the District Mediation Center concerned shall make his/her best efforts to settle the dispute amicably and thereafter submit his/her report before the concerned learned District Court, well within a period of four months, till then, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case.

8. In case of failure on the part of the petitioner to appear on 19.09.2025 before the learned District Court or any date fixed by the learned Mediator, the interim protection granted to the petitioner shall automatically lose its force.

9. In case, the parties fail to reconcile, then in that

10. Accordingly, the present modification application stands disposed of.
