JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 26-06-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1(A). For issuance of appropriate writ or rule or direction to the respondents authorities to provide the registered adoption deed dated 13.01.1994 by which the respondent no.5 has adopted three children namely Sanjiv Kumar, Seema Kumari and Sarita Kumari, by setting aside the letter no. 4549 dated 30.04.2014 issued by the respondent no.2 by which the contents of letter no. 9595 dated 20.09.2013 issued by respondent no. 4 has been affirmed as by both

Patna High Court CWJC No.18189 of 2014(4) dt.26-06-2024 2/2 the aforesaid letters, it has been informed to the petitioner that as per column 2 and 3 of section 57 of the Registration Act 1908, the registered deed of adoption dated 13.01.1994 is not permissible to provide the copy of the same to the petitioner since the petitioner is not the party to the deed on the ground that it is not permissible to provide the copy of the said deed to the petitioner, without considering the facts that the petitioner is legally wedded wife of said Rabindra Prasad."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
