The petitioner is in custody in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 352 of 2022 for the offence under sections 120(B), 304(B) and 326 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 09.12.2022 by the informant, Upendra Singh.

As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that after the marriage of his daughter, her in-laws were torturing and on the fateful day, came to know that she has been poisoned, taken for treatment but died. Accordingly, the FIR. Considering the kind of allegation that has come against the petitioner, he being the husband, for the present, this Court is not inclined to extend him the privilege of bail. The bail application stands rejected.
