The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 376/511 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that this petitioner made an attempt to ravish the seven years old daughter of the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation is neither being supported by the independent witness nor by the medical opinion.
