The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Imamganj P.S. Case No. 34/2007, registered for the offences punishable under Section 380 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. It appears that the case was registered in the year 2007. The police after investigation submitted charge-sheet against the petitioner showing the petitioner as absconder. Petitioner has filed this petition for anticipatory bail only after nine years of the occurrence particularly, when he has already been declared absconder.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
