2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 627 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2), 96, and 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. From the statement of the victim girl, it appears that she has not alleged any ill treatment at the hands of the petitioner and the petitioner is in custody since 31.01.2025.

4. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the nature of the allegations and the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail
