In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No.26 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 414 and 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

While the police was moving in civil dress, at about 6 am. two boys came and started the truck after boarding the truck, then the Chowkidar stopped them and Police Officer apprehended them and took to the Police Station. On interrogation, they narrated about the collusion of the driver and intention was to swallow the goods loaded on the truck. The name of the petitioner has come during the investigation.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20569 of 2017 (3) dt.06-07-2017 2/2 Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. If the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for bail, the Court below will pass order in accordance with law without being influenced by the order of this Court.
