JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 26-08-2019 Petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondents to pay arrears of difference of salary for the period January, 1991 to March, 2011.

Claim of the petitioner is that he was appointed by the Governing Body of Jag Jiwan College, Ara on 19.1.1975. He continued in the Jag Jiwan College but he was not granted benefit of pay revision. The petitioner retired on 30.10.2017. Considering the fact that petitioner has now superannuated, the Court directs the University to verify the claim of the petitioner as to arrears of difference of salary for

Patna High Court CWJC No.17291 of 2019(2) dt.26-08-2019 2/2 the period January 1991 to March, 2011 and if it is found by the University that the petitioner was not granted the benefit of pay revision, the University shall ensure payment of difference of arrears of salary at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
