Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 47(A) of Excise Act. No doubt, in huge quantity foreign liquor is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner and earlier his prayer for bail was rejected by this court but petitioner is in jail custody since 02.04.2016 and does not have any criminal antecedent. Petitioner appears to have sufficiently been punished by remaining in jail custody for such a long period.
