Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 497, 498 and 366 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to FIR, the petitioner had enticed the wife and two children of the informant to go with him. The wife of the informant, in her statement, under Section 164 Cr.P.C., stated that the petitioner had taken her to Mumbai. Subsequently, she returned back.

Considering the entire facts as well as the period of custody of the petitioner, who is in jail since 07.07.2017, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5289 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 2/2 of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Karahagar (Sidhi) Police Station Case No. 190 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
