Apprehending his arrest in Mushari P.S. Case No. 17 of 2013 registered on 10.03.2013 under sections 341, 323, 307, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, the present application is filed for grant of pre-arrest bail.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not aware of the case. Hence, there was delay in submitting to the jurisdiction of the Court. The allegation is general and omnibus. Counsel for the State points out that the petitioners absconded for a long time. The trial of some of the accused is at the advanced stage. The learned Court below noticed relevant evidence in the said Sessions Trial which directly implicate the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33323 of 2017 (2) dt.20-07-2017 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation, I am not persuaded to extend privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer is rejected.
