This Court would expect that the petitioner's Counsel would honour his undertaking in the instant proceedings regarding supply of requisite court fee etc. within two weeks from the date he is called upon to do so by the office. Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 49 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 324, 326, 307, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and later on cognizance also been taken under Section 304B of IPC.

The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail. The prayer for bail was earlier rejected on 20.03.2020 in Cr. Misc. No. 1353/2020.

Against the petitioner (husband), the allegation is of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68625 of 2021(5) dt.13-04-2022 2/2 setting ablaze his wife, who is also the informant. In her fardbeyan, the injured victim has implicated the petitioner.

Having regard to the serious nature of allegations, this Court had rejected the prayer on the earlier occasion. This Court does not find any reason to take a different view today. The application for bail is thus dismissed. It is, needless to say, that the trial court should proceed with the matter expeditiously without unnecessary delay and undue adjournment.
