2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 16.04.2024, at about 10-11:00 P.M., when informant along with his uncle Jairam Sharma, was going to the grain yard of his field, in the meantime, this petitioner along with other co-accused persons and 10 other miscreants armed with lathi, danda, khanti, road and spade arrived there and attacked upon them as a result of which both the victims became unconscious. The injured were brought to the Primary Health Centre, Kurtha from where they were referred to Sadar Hospital, Arwal and during the course of

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the accusation against the petitioner and the statement of the deceased who named this petitioner, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 14.08.2024, trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
