This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307, 379, 427, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is general and omni bus allegation against the petitioner and others that they have committed assault and theft. Similarly situated other co-accused have been allowed anticipatory bail in Cr. Misc. No. 41710 of 2016 on 22.11.2016. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 82 of 2016 (G.R. No. 2063 of 2016) to the satisfaction of Shri S.K. Rai, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Muzaffarpur, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code. (Birendra Kumar, J) SA/- U √ T √
