The petitioners being parents and brothers of the husband of the informant are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 313, 498A, 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand and got the pregnancy of the informant terminated at the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41349 of 2015 (5) dt.15-07-2016 2/3 instigation of her husband.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the accusation is omnibus and general. So far as accusation of getting the pregnancy of the informant terminated is concerned, there is no medical report to that effect on record. The husband of the informant has been granted provisional anticipatory bail by this Court vide Criminal Miscellaneous No.2709/2016 on the ground of his readiness to keep the informant as wife with full honour and dignity. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the informant that the husband of the informant was granted provisional anticipatory bail on the undertaking that he will keep the informant as wife with full dignity and honour, but since last 2-3 months the informant has not given any instruction to him.
