03-03-2022 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner seeks bail in Korha P.S. Case No. 246 of 2021, registered for the offence under Section 302, 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, some unknown miscreants killed the son of the informant.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that name of the petitioner has surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Dilip Chaudhary, who has already been granted bail by the court below itself. Besides, confessional statement of coaccused, there is no other material to show his complicity in the aforesaid crime. Petitioner is in custody since 02.09.2021. Chargesheet has already been submitted.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Katihar in connection with Korha P.S. Case No. 246 of 2021.
