JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 24-08-2017 Seeking exception to an order dated 03.08.2015 passed by the Writ Court in C.W.J.C. No. 7004 of 2011, this appeal has been filed under Clause 10 of the Letters Patent. The petitioner appeared in the Matriculation Examination in the year 1975. The mark-sheet was issued to the petitioner in the year 1975 and in the mark-sheet his date of birth was not correctly reflected and when the petitioner faced adverse consequence in view of this while in seeking appointment in Government service in the year 2010, the petitioner filed the writ application seeking correction of the date of birth in the mark-sheet issued to him for the Matriculation Examination conducted in the year 1975. Holding

Patna High Court LPA No.1627 of 2015 (2) dt.24-08-2017 2/2 that after a period of 30 years correction of the date of birth in the mark-sheet cannot be permitted, the Writ Petition in question has been dismissed. We find no error for the same warranting interference.

The appeal stands dismissed.
