====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHANDRA PRAKASH SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-10-2024 Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Sigori P.S. Case No. 103 of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Section 302 read with Section 34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the other co-accused persons are alleged to have committed murder of the informant's son and threw his dead body in a field.

4. This is third attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail.

5. Earlier two bail applications of the petitioner for grant of bail were rejected by the then Co-ordinate Bench of this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60944 of 2024(3) dt.07-10-2024 2/3 Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 1482 of 2023 under order dated 04.07.2023 and Cr. Misc. No. 80674 of 2023 under order dated 12.01.2024 with a direction to the learned trial court to conclude the trial within a period of six months, as mentioned its report, failing which the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his application for bail.

6. Vide order dated 09.09.2024, a report regarding the present stage of trial of the present case in connection with Sigori P.S. Case No. 103 of 2022 from the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-Ist, Danapur, Patna, and the number of the witnesses to be examined in the present case and within what period the trial is expected to be concluded, was called for.

In compliance of the aforesaid order dated 09.09.2024, a report regarding the present stage of the trial of the case has been sent to this Court by learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Danapur, Patna, vide its Letter No. 340 dated 13.09.2024 by which it has been reported that all the prosecution evidence have already been examined in the case and the prosecution evidence has been closed and the case is fixed for the statement of the accused under Section 351 of B.N.S.S. and the next date of this case is fixed for 18.09.2024. It has been further reported that the trial of the case is likely to

8. There is no fresh ground for reconsideration of the bail of the petitioner as made out by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is again rejected in connection with Sessions Trial No. 1531 of 2022, arising out of Sigori P.S. Case No. 103 of 2022, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-Ist, Danapur, Patna.

9. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial at the earliest.
