2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Madhowrah P.S. Case No. 236 of 2001 for the offence under section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 18.12.2001.

3. As per the allegation, Manju Devi was married to the petitioner but was tortured for dowry and due to nonfulfillment, allegation is that she was burned, rushed to the Hospital but the Doctor declared her dead. This led to the FIR.

4. The matter is of the year 2001, according to learned counsel for the petitioner, the final form was submitted in the year 2002 but the learned CJM, Saran took cognizance in the year 2004.

5. Learned APP submits that even going by the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56966 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/2 petition, cognizance took place in the year 2004 and we are in the year 2025.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, it would be appropriate that the petitioner seeks bail.
