Public Prosecutor for the State assisted by learned counsel for the informant.

Petitioners seek bail in a case registered under section 307 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioners are said to have assaulted the informant as well as her other family members. In the present occurrence, it appears from perusal of the impugned order that, altogether, four persons sustained injuries. The opinion regarding some of the injuries was kept reserved. However, it is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that there is case and counter case between the parties and if first information reports of both cases are taken into consideration, then it would appear that a free fight took place between the parties and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48291 of 2016 (2) dt.11-01-2017 persons from both sides sustained injuries.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in Narpatganj P.S. Case no. 235/2016.
