The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No.9 of 2017 registered under Sections 304B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that the informant performed the marriage of his daughter with Dilip Kumar, son of Chandeshwar Pandit, on 20.02.2014 on providing several items in the gift but, after sometime, demand of motorcycle was made in the dowry. On 04.01.2017, Dilip Kumar came at the house of the informant and made demand of motorcycle. When the informant showed his inability to fulfill the demand of motorcycle, Dilip Kumar asked him to face the consequences. Thereafter, on 05.01.2017, when the informant went to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39543 of 2017 (4) dt.12-12-2017 2/2 the sasural house of his daughter and made query then he came to know that his daughter and granddaughter have been killed and their dead bodies have been concealed and all the members of sasural of his daughter left the house.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that the specific allegation of making demand of motorcycle is against Dilip Kumar, the husband of the deceased, the daughter of the informant. The petitioner, who is mother-in-law of the deceased, the daughter of the informant, has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner, who is lady, has no criminal antecedent. Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender by her within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on her furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, West Muzaffarpur, in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No.9 of 2017, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
