JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 22-02-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order contained in Memo No. 1183 dated 10.09.2016 (Annexure-1) issued under the signature of respondent no. 3, the Sub-Divisional Officer, East, Muzaffarpur, whereby and whereunder the license no. 24MNP-01-10 for running public distribution shop at Raghopur, Panchayat under Minapur Panchayat stands cancelled on account of non-deposition of renewal fee.

2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2016 (Annexure-4 series) filed before the Sub-Divisional Officer,

Patna High Court CWJC No.17814 of 2016 dt.22-02-2018 East, Muzaffarpur (Respondent No. 3) is directed to be disposed of, in which event, the present writ petition need not be pressed on merits.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.

4. Having regard to the nature of the grievances and the stand of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sub-Divisional Officer, East, Muzaffarpur (Respondent No. 3) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2016 (Annexure-4 Series), if the same is pending before him, after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
