The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Madhubani Mahila P.S. Case No. 58/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The informant Opposite Party no. 2 lodged complaint case against her husband Md. Manjoor and other family members

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19636 of 2017 (2) dt.12-07-2017 2/2 making allegation of demand of dowry and torture. The petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and other family members of the husband of the informant. The marriage was solemnized in the year 2008 and after eight years the informant filed complaint petition making omnibus and general allegation of demand of dowry and torture against the petitioners.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature allegation made against the petitioners and the fact that the petitioners are inlaws, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in connection with Madhubani Mahila P.S. Case No. 58/2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
